2 Los Angeles Men Charged for Armed Robbery Spree with Automatic Weapons

According to a press release by the U.S. Attorney's Office, a federal grand jury charges two Los Angeles residents in an eight-count indictment stating that they committed multiple armed robberies at various business in a six-week spree. Defendants Kyle Williams and Colin Lacey are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit interference with commerce by robbery. Lacey is also charged with 4 counts of robbery while Williams is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.

According to the indictment, Williams and Lacey traveled together by car to various convenient store businesses and committed robberies. Williams would enter the store, brandish a semi-automatic gun and demand money, while Lacey waited in the vehicle parked outside. Both defendants would flee the area following the armed robbery.
