According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, a former manager for Comerica Bank was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison for stealing over $1 million from an elderly customer. She would then spend the money on lavish items, spa days, and Las Vegas gambling trips.

Marie Fulle, of Newport Beach, was sentenced in downtown Los Angeles federal court to prison by U.S. District Judge Virginia A. Phillips and order her to repay $1,091,230 in restitution to her victim. Fulle pleaded guilty back in 2019 to two counts of bank fraud. Fulle was the former branch manager of the Tustin branch of Comerica Bank. She was later fired after a bank investigation found Fulle stole money from her bank drawer and embezzled money from her victim.
