Ghislaine Maxwell Gets 20 Years for Aiding Jeffrey Epstein in Sex Trafficking

According to a press release by the U.S. Attorney's Office, Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison. The sentencing hearing took place before U.S. District Judge Alison J. Nathan who sentenced Maxwell after a jury found her guilty late last year.

In December, Ghislaine was found guilty by a federal jury of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking a minor.

In addition to her prison sentence, Maxwell was sentenced to five years of supervised release and ordered to pay a $750,000 fine.
